The British Art Show 8 has invited me to exhibit in Southampton Fringe!
My sculptural installation will be exhibited as a part of the arts trail October 2016. The work is about my experiences of dealing with complexes while training as an art psychotherapist.
The art feral in me has been playing in my garden and skip diving again. I feel like an outsider insider artist making things from crap with no particular movement or style in mind, yet I am accepted by the art world and the world of clinical practice. I simultaneously fit yet am ill-fitting in two professions that give me an identity that I have worked hard to obtain and disown.
Soon the sculpture will be lit up in one of the historical sites in Southampton, as these locations are temperamental the location is still to be confirmed.
