I have decided to take time out to spend more time on my practice and involving myself in the Spike Island community. Having had a studio here for less then a year, I am still feeling like I am not very established and making the most the opportunity of being in such an amazing studio space. Therefore I have taken up the opportunity to give an artist talk to the public. Currently I am spending more time on my practice and not getting distracted by prospective exhibitions. This is a great chance for me to think about what I have in my practice and present it in a cohesive and professional way. I am very nervous about doing this presentation, however it will help me grow as a practitioner and is already helping to take stock of things and tidy them up conceptually in my mind. The talk is on the 17th November 2018 and will be advertised via the Spike Island website.
